VIERA Link

The E5 features VIERA Link, a technology that allows a consumer to operate all VIERA Link compatible AV components using only the TV’S remote control. In addition to operating a VIERA HDTV, video source, and home theater receiver can be connected to a VIERA HDTV and controlled via VIERA Link remote. Users can then watch their child, pet and/or property by installing the camera and networking to the VIERA HDTV via Ethernet cable.

Online Movies

Simply press the INTERNET button on the remote control to directly access a variety of VOD services. Enjoy online movies and TV programs with ease. *Some content may only be available for specific countries and may be presented in specific languages

DLNA/Wi-Fi Ready
Connect this DLNA-compatible VIERA HDTV and DLNA-compatible AV equipment to your home network, and you can watch movies, listen to music, and view photos from any room in the house. 360 Backlight Scanning
By increasing the panel refresh to 120Hz with a 3-phase backlight system, crystals are more active and responsive than 120Hz standard systems to minimize image softening under motion. 360 backlight scanning allows for smooth images, without flicker, even in fast-moving scenes. Afterimages are thoroughly reduced by finer blinking.

IPS LED Panel
The IPS LED panel delivers a wide viewing angle with almost no picture degradation at off angle viewing. Get high contrast performance fast response time with the E5 series IPS LED Clear panel.
