Use 2 Paging files for Maximum Performance, 1 on the C drive and 1 on a different hard drive
- Right-click Computer in the Start Menu.
- Select Properties.
- Click Advanced system settings on the left side of the System window.
- Click the Settings button in the Performance section of the Advanced tab.
- Select the Advanced tab in the Performance Options window.
- Click the Change button in the Virtual memory section.
- Uncheck Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.
- Highlight the C drive, select system managed size, and then click the Set button.
- Highlight the second drive, select system managed size, and then click the Set button.
- Click OK and then restart your computer to apply the changes.
Uninstall Programs You Don’t Use
- Click on the Start Menu, then open the Control Panel.
- Under the Programs category, click Uninstall a Program.
- Select the programs you don’t use and uninstall them.
Run CCleaner to Cleanup Temporary Files, Junk Files, etc.

- Install and Run CCleaner.
- Click Analyze, then select Clean.
Defragment Your Hard Drive With Defraggler

- Select the drive you wish to defragment and click Defrag.
